Phillip Violins.
After years of performing, much of it in Las Vegas, I wanted to build something rooted in one place rather than scattered across stages. Da Nang is where that turned into a shop: Phillip Violins, on Hoàng Bích Sơn in Sơn Trà, a showroom, a luthier's workshop, and a teaching studio under one roof.
Prior to our opening, anyone in central Vietnam who needed an instrument set up properly, a repair done, or a first lesson for their child, didn't have a hub to turn to. I'm proud to say we have been able to foster this environment.
There's an old line I keep coming back to, the feeling I want people to have the moment they walk in:
“Music is not merely the universal language of mankind, but also the water that nourishes the soul.”
Repair & care — adjustments, new strings, tuning, done by hand.
Instruments — violins, violas, cellos and bows for every level.
Lessons — all ages from five up, one-on-one or in small groups.

If you'd like to study, we can work one-to-one, online or here in Da Nang. I keep the roster small so each student gets real attention, from age five up. And if you'd rather help than study, anything you give goes straight to strings, rosin, and lessons for those who need them.
Crafted with passion and artistry.
